This page started with two contributions, both from friends who live in Ashford, Kent. Jane and I lived there from 1976 to December 1982.. We made many friends who have kept in contact over the years. Some we saw from time to time, and some we have seen more of since we moved to Northern Ireland than when we lived there!

Just before the second anniversary of Jane’s death I received a piece from Rosemary Bill who with her husband Bill lived in Bexleyheath whilst we were there from 1983 to 1991. Rosemary writes at length, because her story has so many parallels with Jane’s.
